Morice Norris, Detroit Lions cornerback, suffered a serious head injury during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.

He was taken off the field unconscious, showing seizure-like activity in his legs immediately after a knee struck the side of his head during a tackle.
Medical personnel stabilized him on a backboard before transporting him by ambulance to a hospital for further assessment. Afterward, Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed Norris was breathing, awake, talking, and had some movement at the hospital.

Due to the severity of the injury, the game was suspended early by mutual agreement of both teams and officials.
A full video of the injury sequence, showing the knee impact and Norris’ immediate loss of consciousness and physical reaction, has been shared online by medical observers.
Players from both teams paused play, forming a circle and praying silently as Norris was removed, reflecting the seriousness and emotional impact of the incident
