This officer is truly becoming NYPD blue. The Post has learned that an appearance in a raunchy pole-dancing video that has gone viral has caused a detective in the city police department’s special victims’ unit to raise eyebrows.
A music video that was released by World Hip Hop features curvy police officer Melissa Mercado, who has been a member of New York’s Finest for seven years.
In the video, the cop is seen gyrating and shaking her body while only wearing a thong and a small bra. According to records, Mercado joined the force in 2018.
She is a grade 3 detective with a salary of $144,000 who focuses on special victims in the Bronx. She is not clad in NYPD gear. She is not mentioned as a detective in the video.
